我们使用 Planck 数据研究了 M33 星系，并发现相对于其投影在天球面上的短轴存在显著的温度不对称性。这种温度不对称性与 21 cm 处的 HI 速度场相关性良好，至少在星系中心距离 0.5 度以内如此，并且发现其可从星系中心延伸至约 3 度处。我们得出结论，所揭示的效应，即温度不对称性及其延伸，意味着我们探测到了 M33 星系及其扩展重子晕的差异自转。
