摘要
在天文学家意识到被瓦解的行星物质很可能污染了许多白矮星表面十余年之后，围绕白矮星WD 1145+017的凌星碎屑的发现为探索这一过程打开了新大门。我们描述了凌星行星物质的观测证据，以及当前对该现象的理论理解(在某些情况下尚缺乏理解)。
