Firefox 中的跟踪保护：兼顾隐私与性能

我们在 Mozilla Firefox 浏览器中提出了跟踪保护（Tracking Protection）。跟踪保护是一种新的隐私技术，通过阻止对跟踪域的请求来减轻对用户在线活动的侵入性跟踪。我们评估了该方法，并在 Alexa 排名前 200 的新闻网站上证明，在一次爬取过程中设置的 HTTP cookie 数量减少了 67.5%。由于 Firefox 不下载和渲染跟踪域的内容，跟踪保护还带来了性能优势：在 Alexa 排名前 200 的新闻网站上，页面加载时间中位数减少 44%，数据用量减少 39%。
