面向中微子与暗物质实验的光电倍增管波形分析终极方案探研

摘要
光电倍增管(PMT)电压波形是许多中微子与暗物质实验的原始数据。波形分析是数据处理的基石。我们评估了已知的所有波形分析算法的性能,发现快速随机匹配追踪在精度上最佳。采用快速随机匹配追踪可获得显著的时间(最高2倍)与能量(最高1.07倍)分辨率提升,逼近理论极限。其他方法在时间分辨率上也优于传统的阈值穿越法。
