广泛认为，即将到来的5G架构将高度异构并以高密度部署。相对于当前4G的这些改变，从网络管理角度带来了如何实现高效运行的诸多挑战。在本文中，我们介绍了未来5G无线网络的一种革命性愿景，其中网络不再受硬件甚至软件限制。具体而言，通过最近日益受到关注的无线网络虚拟化思想，我们引入“一切即服务”（XaaS）分类法，为设计面向服务的无线网络指明道路。本文概述并讨论了在无线网络中实现XaaS的概念、挑战以及研究机遇。
