摘要
我们定义语言中两个词若表达相似概念则相连。语言中众多词语之间的连接网络对于语言的结构与演化以及认知科学都至关重要。我们通过将语言中数千个词语的连接网络映射出来来定量地研究这一问题，其中连接由 thesaurus 词典条目定义。我们发现，该网络呈现小世界结构，平均最短路径惊人地小，似乎表现出渐近幂律特性，具有代数连通性分布。
