摘要
TIFR 近红外成像相机-II（TIRCAM2）正被用于由印度北阿坎德邦奈尼塔尔的阿里亚巴塔观测科学研究所（ARIES）运行的 3.6 米 Devasthal 光学望远镜（DOT）。此前，TIRCAM2 在 DOT 主端口上以分时方式使用。现已安装于望远镜的侧端口。侧端口安装允许与主端口仪器近乎同时观测以及更长的运行周期。因此，TIRCAM2 为天文界提供从月掩星、暂现事件到常规排期观测等多种观测服务。
