变异棕矮星 Kelu-1 的时序光谱

摘要
我们报告了为检验尘埃云对 L2 型棕矮星 Kelu-1 光谱特征所进行的观测结果。时序中分辨率光谱显示在 1--24 小时尺度上，TiO、CrH 和 FeH 带状特征没有显著变异迹象。然而我们报告在 H-alpha 伪等效宽度中发现周期性变异，与该对象此前报告的 1.8 小时旋转周期一致 (Clarke, Tinney & Tolley, 2002)。同步的 I 带光度测量显示证据表明该对象在 2% 水平上存在非周期性变异。
