L 型恒星的 R 波段可变性观测

我们首次报告了 L 型恒星在 波段的光度可变性。对三个 L1 型恒星（2MASS 1300+19、2MASS 1439+19 和 2MASS 1658+70）进行观测后，我们发现 2MASS 1300+19 和 2MASS 1439+19 的 波段可变性。这些天体表现出�幅 ranging 从 0.01 玫瑰度到 0.02 玫瑰度的可变性。对象 2MASS 1658+70 在 和 波段均表现出不可变性。然而，仍需更多观测来推断其可变性。从两个可变的 L1 型恒星的可变性中未发现任何周期性行为。这三个 L1 型恒星要么 活动要么几乎为零。由于缺乏足够强磁场的直接证据，光学偏振的检测Favours L 型恒星大气中尘埃的存在。我们建议观察到的 波段光度可变性最可能由于大气尘埃活动所致。
