EuCu{2}(Ge{1-x}Si{x}){2} 间金属材料的热电功率演化可由导电电子在 Eu 离子上通过 Kondo 散射解释，这些离子在磁性 2+ 与非磁性 3+ Hund 定则配置之间振荡。Si-Ge 替代等效于化学压力，这会改变 f 态与导电态之间的耦合及其相对占比。
