摘要
在这些讲义中，我简要讨论了当代天文学中关于中子星的现状与新发现，特别聚焦于孤立天体。后者包括软伽马脉冲器、异常 X 射线脉冲器、超新星残留物中的 central compact objects、七大奇观以及旋转射电脉冲器。在论文后部分，我描述了中子星冷却曲线的可用性测试，并讨论了可帮助与观测数据对话理论冷却计算的不同额外约束。
