X-shooter伽马射线暴余辉遗留样本(XS-GRB)

摘要

本工作中,我们呈现了截至2017-03-31所有用X-shooter光谱仪迅速观测的γ\gamma射线暴(GRB)余辉的光谱。总计,我们获得了103个在GRB触发后48小时内观测到的独立GRB的光谱观测。其中97%测得了红移,覆盖0.059至7.84的红移范围。基于一组最小化关于GRB内禀属性偏置的观测选择标准,后续工作聚焦于产生一个由Swift卫星发现的93个余辉光谱的均匀样本。我们在此公开发布所有减缩光谱,包括连续谱估计与大气吸收修正。为完整起见,我们也提供18个晚期对潜在宿主星系观测的减缩数据。我们依据样本中暴的X射线属性,评估了相对于母GRB总体的完备程度,发现此处呈现的样本代表了完整的Swift样本。我们将暗暴比例限制为<28%,并确认了先前结果,即更高的光学暗度与增强的X射线吸收相关。对于其中42个暴,我们提供了中性氢柱密度的测量,使已发表HI柱密度测量总数增加了\sim33%。该数据集提供了研究跨越宇宙时间的星际介质(从本地前身星环境到介入宇宙)的独特资源。
