星团星形成的时刻 scale 与模式

我讨论了两个关于星团起源的问题：过程持续多久？单个星体的形成模式是什么？我认为，针对银河系星形成区域，特别是猎户星云团 (ONC)，的观测表明，星团形成通常需要数百万年，这远超过局部动力学时刻 scale。单个恒星和双星，包括致密星，似乎都是来自气体核坍缩的。
