大麦哲伦云（LMC）恒星BI 108具有测光变率，其独特的光变曲线如下：两个强周期处于严格的3:2共振，在多个观测季中保持相干。在VLT/UVES收集的光谱数据揭示了该系统出乎意料且尚未被完全理解的行为，这在任何其他早型多重系统中均未被观察到。
