NGC 660 环中星系内容的研究

我们报告了使用哈勃太空望远镜存档数据对极星系 NGC 660 环的星光测 photometry 结果。解析星的最终列表包含 550 颗对象，其中相当一部分是属于极环的蓝色和红色超新星。对于极环星的颜色-光度图分析显示，其最佳表示为金属量为 Z = 0.008 的等时星图。极环中的星形成过程是连续的，年轻星的最浅检测年龄约为 7 百万年。
