SPHEREx 冰源目标列表 (SPLICES)

摘要

SPHEREx 任务的首要目标之一是了解分子如 H2O、CO2 以及其他挥发性化合物在行星系统形成早期阶段的来源。由于绝大多数化合物(通常超过 95%)在此类系统中以固体相存在而非气相,观测策略略显不寻常。具体而言,SPHEREx 将针对银河系内大量遮蔽源,观测这些物种的吸收特征,以背景光照为基准。SPHEREx 光谱 photometry 将为数百万颗遮蔽的银河系源(所有年龄和类型)测量冰柱密度。通过将这些柱密度与源年龄相关联,SPHEREx 任务将阐明这些分子是是在与其初生恒星系统一起在原位形成,还是在形成后在其他地方形成后被引入这些系统。为此,本文描述了 SPHEREx 冰源目标列表 (SPLICES) 第 7.1 版,包含约 860 万颗亮于 W2~12 Vega 星等的对象,主要覆盖银河系中太平面宽阔条带,但也包括高纬度分子云甚至麦�lea星云。
