Fermi 亮耀变体的能谱分布

(节选)我们对 Fermi LAT 亮 AGN 样本(LBAS)中由 γ 射线选取的耀变体的宽波段光谱性质进行了详细研究。通过将我们准确估计的 Fermi γ 射线谱与在 LBAS 数据采集期三个月内收集的 Swift、射电、红外、光学及其他硬 X 射线/γ 射线数据相结合,我们成功为 48 个 LBAS 耀变体组装了高质量且准同时的能谱分布(SED)。这些 γ 射线源的 SED 与在其他波长发现的耀变体的 SED 相似,在通常的 Log ν\nu - Log ν\nu Fν_\nu 表示中,清楚地展示了通常归因于低能同步辐射及随后一个或多个成分的逆康普顿辐射组合的典型宽波段光谱特征。我们利用这些 SED 来表征低能和高能成分的峰值强度。该结果已被用于推导经验关系,即根据宽波段颜色(即射电到光学和光学到 X 射线的谱斜率)以及 γ 射线谱指数来估计两个峰的位置。我们的数据显示,在宽线 FSRQ 中,同步辐射峰值频率 νpS\nu_p^S 位于 1012.5^{12.5} 至 1014.5^{14.5} Hz 之间,而在无特征的 BL Lacertae 天体中,位于 101310^{13}101710^{17} Hz 之间。我们发现 γ 射线谱斜率与同步辐射峰值能量和 X 射线谱指数强相关,这与同步辐射-逆康普顿情景下的一阶预期一致。然而,简单的均匀单区同步自康普顿(SSC)模型无法解释我们的大部分 SED,尤其是在 FSRQ 和低能峰(LBL)BL Lac 天体的情况下。(...)
