根据各种测光和光谱标准选取的大样本高红移星系的当前及未来观测结果，可以通过演化光谱能量分布（SED）模型在星系形成的框架下进行解释。我们在此介绍 STARDUST，它提供了从远紫外到亚毫米波段的合成 SED。这些 SED 旨在被实现到星系形成的半解析模型中。
