SDSS-V黑洞映射者反响映射项目:一个亮类星体的异常宽线变率

我们呈现对亮类星体(λLλ\lambda L_{\lambda}(5100\r{A}) = 4.7×10444.7 \times 10^{44} erg s1^{-1})SDSS J141041.25+531849.0(红移 z=0.359z = 0.359)光谱中三条宽发射线(MgII、Hβ\beta 和 Hα\alpha)剧烈变率的高 cadence 多历元分析,基于2013–2022年九年监测的127个光谱历元。我们观测到所有三条发射线的宽发射线宽度与流量之间的反相关,表明三条宽发射线均响应随机连续谱变化而“呼吸”。我们还观测到所有三条宽发射线中剧烈的径向速度偏移,范围从 Δv\Delta{v} \sim400 km s1^{-1}\sim800 km s1^{-1},并在监测期间发生变化。我们对宽线变率的首选解释是宽线区气体的复杂运动学。我们提出一个宽线变率模型,包含具有径向梯度的气体内流、方位不对称(如热斑)与随机流量驱动的优化发射区变化(“线呼吸”)相叠加。由类星体周围复杂气体运动学引起的类似线轮廓变率实例,可能代表双黑洞径向速度搜寻中一类重要的假阳性来源,而此类搜寻通常缺乏我们此处所分析的高 cadence 数据。SDSS-V BHM-RM 的长周期、宽视场、多历元光谱监测,为识别与刻画亮类星体的宽发射线变率及其内区气体环境的推断性质提供了极佳机会。
