标量/Higgs工厂的科学需求

摘要
电弱理论的标量子部件可通过μ⁺μ⁻碰撞器S通道共振机器进行探测。我们给出何时可能需要此类机器以及何时可由LHC探测器获得此信息的论点。一个非常有趣的案例是多个标量粒子位于相同质量范围内（如超对称Higgs玻色子h、H和A），这将确定需要此类机器。Higgs工厂可继神子工厂建造后实施。
