μ+ μ- 对撞机的物理能力

摘要

我们总结了μ子对撞机探测基本物理的潜力。W+WW^+W^-tˉt\bar{t}tZhZh阈值测量可以确定质量精度分别为ΔMW=6\Delta M_W = 6 MeV、Δmt=70\Delta m_t = 70 MeV和Δmh=45\Delta m_h = 45 MeV,以检验电弱辐射修正。通过μ子对撞机独有的ss道希格斯产生,希格斯质量可以被精确定位(Δmh<1\Delta m_h < 1 MeV)并测量其宽度。超对称的其他希格斯玻色子可以通过三种方法产生和研究。如果WWWW sector变成强相互作用,一个4 TeV的μ子对撞机非常适合研究它。
