摘要
在分布式远程（CEO）信源编码问题中，许多独立的编码器观测到同一底层信源的独立噪声副本。速率损失是这种分布式设置所需的速率与编码器可完全协作设置下所需速率之间的差值。从这个意义上说，速率损失刻画了分布式处理的代价。我们综述并扩展了各种设置下关于速率损失的已知结果，特别侧重于观测中的噪声为高斯但底层信源为一般的情况。
