摘要

极端多信使天体物理探测任务(POEMMA)旨在观测全天空 20 PeV 以上的宇宙 neutrinos(CNs)和 20 EeV 以上的超高能宇宙射线(UHECRs)。POEMMA 任务要求两颗相同的卫星以松散编队飞行,每颗卫星包含一个 4 米宽视场(45 度)的 Schmidt 光度计。混合焦平面包括一个快速(1 μs)紫外相机用于荧光观测和一个超快(10 ns)光学相机用于切伦科夫观测。POEMMA 将为宇宙中最具能量的事件提供新的多信使窗口,使得在这些原本无法触及的能量下研究新的天体物理学和粒子物理成为可能。
