NEOWISE发现的彗星族群及CO+CO2产生率

摘要

WISE/NEOWISE巡天任务期间观测到的163颗彗星代表了迄今为止对彗星进行的最大规模红外巡天,为尘埃、核大小以及CO+CO2产生提供了约束。我们给出了WISE/NEOWISE彗星发现的详细分析,并讨论了显示4.6 μ\mum波段超额的活跃彗星的观测结果。我们发现尘埃产生与CO+CO2产生之间可能存在关联,并且长周期和短周期彗星核的大小可能存在差异。
