10^17 eV以上宇宙射线的质量成分

摘要
本文指出，在10^17 eV以上能量范围内，我们对宇宙射线质量成分的了解仍不足。讨论了不同测量之间的系统性差异，特别是指出没有充分的证据支持目前普遍假设的最高能量宇宙射线为质子。这一论点表明，若要解决能谱的不确定性并解释宇宙射线到达方向分布的数据，必须改进对质量成分的了解。
