快闪射电波 (FRB) 广泛认为源自磁星,其通过释放磁能来驱动爆炸。具有活跃重复性的 FRB 被观察到每小时可产生数百次爆炸,并可持续数月,因此可能为 FRB 中心发动机的能量预算提供严格约束。在 214 天的时间跨度内,我们检测到了来自高度活跃的 FRB 20240114A 的 11,553 次爆炸,峰值爆炸率达到 729 hr。这是来自任何单个 FRB 来源的最大爆炸样本,超过了迄今为止所有已知 FRB 总计的所有已发布爆炸次数。假设射电效率和束缝因子的典型值,该源估计的总各向同性爆炸能量超过了典型磁星的偶极磁能的 86%。该源释放的总能量约为其他已知重复器的 one and a half 数量级,给出磁星磁矩最严格的下限为 G cm。该源在该观测活动结束时仍保持活跃。因此,我们的发现要求 FRB 中心磁星发动机具有异常高的发射效率,或存在超过典型磁星的更强compact object。
