摘要
LOFAR,即低频阵列(Low Frequency Array),是一项正在荷兰建造的射电望远镜,旨在运行于 30至 240 MHz 的波段。瞬变项目是由四个关键科学项目之一,构成 LOFAR 科学案例的核心。瞬变项目的任务是研究由 LOFAR 检测到的变动和瞬态射电源,时间尺度从毫秒到年不等。这将通过对历史上和新发现的射电变源进行定期快照监测,以及最具挑战性的开发一个“射电天空监视器”,后者将每日覆盖北天的大部分区域来实现。
