摘要

宇宙大尺度结构的骨架由宇宙学尺度上的过程以及主导性暗物质的引力相互作用决定。然而,可移动的重子群体塑造了这些结构的外观。理论预测,大多数重子存在于连接星系群和星系团的巨大未维里化纤维状结构中,但目前缺乏观测证据。由于大多数重子被认为存在于大尺度、炽热且稀薄的气相中,X 射线提供了推进我们理解的理想工具。利用 Athena+ X 射线积分场单元进行的观测,将揭示活跃重子群体的位置、化学组成、物理状态和动力学特性。
