暗能量巡天中快速演化暂现源的主星系

快速演化暂现源(RETs),亦称快蓝光学暂现源(FBOTs),是一类独特的天体物理事件。其特征为光变曲线比常见超新星(SNe)类衰减快得多,峰值光度跨度极大,且可被观测到大于1的红移。其快速时标演化阻碍了高质量后随观测,因而其起源与爆发/辐射机制仍待解释。本文中我们定义了迄今最大的RET样本,包含来自暗能量巡天的106个对象,并开展了最为全面的RET主星系分析。利用OzDES光谱的深堆叠测光与发射线,我们推导出49个主星系的恒星质量与恒星形成率(SFRs),以及37个的金属丰度。我们发现RET仅在恒星形成星系中爆发,因此可能与大质量恒星相关。将RET主星系与其他爆发暂现源及场星系的主星系样本比较,我们发现RET偏好具有高比恒星形成率的星系,表明其与年轻恒星星族的联系,类似于剥离包层超新星。RET主星系似乎缺乏化学增丰,其金属丰度类似于长伽马射线暴与超亮超新星主星系。主星系性质与暂现源自身峰值星等或衰减率之间无明确关系。
