Lyman-alpha 森林的 He II 不透明性及其对星际介质的影响

摘要
基于控制 Lyman-alpha 森林吸收分布的经验公式，我们采用蒙特卡洛技术计算由这些森林线产生的平均 HeII 不透明性。来自极其稀薄的星际气体区域对 HeII 吸收作出显著贡献，这些区域超出了观测 HI 吸收的极限。
