盘状星系的气体包

摘要
研究盘状星系平面之外的气体对于理解星系内物质的循环以及星系之间和星际环境之间的物质交换至关重要。我们报告了 NGC891 这一边缘观测星系的新的 HI 观测，显示其盘状成分在旋转中滞后存在扩展的 halo 成分。我们将这些结果与其他气体 halo 的探测进行比较。最后，我们提出一种解释盘状星系气体包形成的动力学模型。
