摘要
Gaia 任务预计将为约 个天体提供高精度的天体测量、测光和光谱测量。探测源的自动分类是数据处理的关键部分。本文介绍了 Gaia 分类过程的几个方面。来自更长波长其他巡天的信息，以及后续的地面观测，将对 Gaia 数据形成补充，特别是在微弱星等处，并为理解我们的星系提供绝佳机会。
