多种性能度量下在线流式传输中的频繁项问题

摘要
本文加强了针对基础在线流式传输问题——频繁项问题（Frequent Items Problem）所获得的竞争分析结果。此外，我们通过使用替代性能度量对该问题进行了更详细的分析，补充了从竞争分析中获得的见解。这些结果也有助于对在线算法性能度量的一般性研究。长期以来人们已知竞争分析在某些情况下存在缺陷，因此提出了许多替代度量。然而，对性能度量的系统性比较研究最近才刚刚启动，我们延续这一工作，对频繁项问题采用了竞争分析、相对区间分析和相对最坏顺序分析。
