球状恒星系统的形成

摘要
我们概述了球状恒星系统形成的当前模型。虽然全球星团在湍润分子云内高效星形成模式下形成，但星系球状体的起源直接与宇宙中结构形成及合并有关。星系的盘是星系的基本构件，也是星系球状体的前体。各种类型球状体及其全局性质可通过盘的外部扰动、内部盘不稳定性，或小型和大型合并来理解。
