FNAL光注入器的平束实验

摘要
Brinkmann、Derbenev与Floettmann[1]提出了一种产生高横向发射度比电子束即“平”束的技术。RF激光枪阴极浸没于螺线管磁场中;结果从圆形激光光斑发出的束流具有净角动量。随后通过横向自由度间相位推进差90度的四极通道,得到平束。实验研究在费米实验室A0光注入器开展。迄今已观测到高达50的横向发射度比,结果与模拟基本吻合。[1] R. Brinkmann, Ya.
