我回顾了 Chandra X射线天文台的运行能力，以及来自一般观测社区所获得的一些惊人结果。本次演讲的自然主题是：Chandra 正在揭示大量能量流动，这些以前并未被观测到。我重点强调了 Chandra 对强大的 X射线喷流的研究。由于 X射线望远镜的亚角秒分辨率，这一主题仅在 Chandra 才能实现。
