ROTSE-III 瞬时 GRB 观测的暗面

摘要
我们展示了几个在伽马射线暴 (GRBs) 期间进行光学观测的案例，这些观测得出了瞬时限制但未探测到光学辐射。这些限制约束了瞬时光学流量密度以及相对于伽马射线辐射的光学亮度。推导出的约束落在具有瞬时光学探测的 GRBs 所观测到的性质范围内，尽管处于光学/伽马流量比值的低端。目前可获得的瞬时光学限制并不要求相对于具有瞬时光学探测的事件存在一组不同的内禀或环境 GRB 性质。
