巴德窗彩色-亮度图的再分析

我们重新分析了约50万颗星的OGLE V和I光度测量，确认了Stanek (1996) 发表的消光图。然而，我们发现Paczyński等人 (1994) 提出的OGLE彩色-亮度图解释是不正确的：巴德窗中占主导地位的盘状星系天体为年龄较大的星际物质，我们没有发现盘内星系中存在大尺寸洞的证据。我们发现OGLE光度测量在红色星团以下存在一定系统误差：V>18的暗淡星体的(V-I)颜色指数偏红约0.1个星等。我们从OGLE和HST光度测量中得出tentative证据，即银河系仙女星团的主序星系翻转点比47~Tuc或NGC~6791更亮约0.5个星等，这表明银河系仙女星团的主要天体群体显著年轻于这些星团。
