我们测量了淡 (R ≤ 25) 场星系的角度聚类，专注于在小角尺度 (θ ≲ 10'') 上 w(θ) 的行为。这些星系聚类程度强烈，w(θ) 由形式为 A_w θ^{-δ} 的幂律良好地描述。然而，最佳拟合幂律指数 δ 小于 fiducial 值 δ = 0.8，这表明我们样本中分离为 θ ≲ 10'' 的星系对数量超过预期值。使用最佳拟合形式，我们估计约 10% 的星系位于物理上相邻的配对中 (分离 ≲ 21 h^{-1} kpc)。这是一个约为当地星系样本的 2 倍，但与平均红移约为 0.4 的星系样本相当。我们星系的平均红移约为 0.95，因此我们的结果表明在 z ≈ 1 与 z ≈ 0.4 之间，星系合并率几乎没有演化。
