银河系核球对于理解星系的形成与演化至关重要。本文报告了利用微引力透镜事件获取银河系核球中矮星高分辨率、中等信噪比光谱的最新研究。通常这对于银河系核球中暗弱的拐点星而言难以实现,但微引力透镜提供了这种可能。由矮星示踪的银河系核球元素丰度趋势,与太阳邻域矮星所表现出的趋势非常相似。我们讨论了由微引力透镜矮星得出的年龄和金属丰度分布函数对银河系核球的意义。
