摘要

C波段全天巡天(C-BASS)旨在以5 GHz频率、在总强度和线偏振模式下,生成灵敏的全天银河系弥漫辐射图。这些巡天图将(与其他巡天一起)用于分离对微波辐射有贡献的若干天体物理成分,尤其将能够生成精确的同步辐射图,用于从极化宇宙微波背景的测量中扣除前景。我们描述了模拟仪器的设计、位于欧文斯谷射电天文台的6.1米天线的光学系统、观测现状以及初探数据。
