我们检讨一种红移空间中的失真,导致星系似乎位于围绕观察者同心的壁中,形成大致环形图案。我们模拟观察者在薄红移空间切片中会看到的景象,包括亮度限制和恒定切片角。结果是一圈环形星系围绕观察者,这一距离大约对应于选择函数的峰值。这一环是对真实空间中弱特征的人工增强。这可能解释了如「大壁」和在深窄场域中发现的周期性现象等视觉上突出的特征。
