延续论文 I（arXiv: cond-mat/0405487）中的论证，我们对无表面面心立方（fcc）元素晶体中间隙缺陷的温度依赖性进行建模，并基于变分法获得自由能和关联行为。我们表明，间隙缺陷的雪崩是熔点处的不稳定性机制，它连接了林德曼判据和玻恩判据。
