AMiBA六脚望远镜支架

摘要

AMiBA是目前运行中最大的六脚天文望远镜。我们描述了这种新型六脚支架及其主要机械部件——支撑锥体、万向节、螺旋千斤顶和平台——并概述了控制系统、指向模型以及所支持的操作模式。基于光学指向测试和平台摄影测量测量,验证了AMiBA六脚支架的性能。摄影测量结果表明,平台内部的变形均方根值小于120微米。这对于当前运行的7单元紧凑配置的光学指向校正、无线电对准和无线电相位误差而言可以忽略不计。经过一系列校正,方位角和仰角的光学指向误差均方根值成功降低至约0.4角分,达到了7单元目标规格的要求。
