1991T-like超新星的绝对星等

摘要

1991T-like超新星是Branch浅硅(SS)型Ia超新星子类中的明亮、缓慢衰减极端类型。它们在极大前阶段的光学光谱中以极弱的Ca II H&K和Si II λ6355\lambda6355以及强Fe III吸收特征为区别,且长期以来被怀疑比正常Ia超新星光度更高。本文中,将光变曲线相位+10\leq+10天处获得的Si II λ\lambda6355吸收 pseudo等效宽度与ii波段光变曲线形态结合,在Carnegie超新星项目-II中甄别出一组1991T-like超新星样本。Hubble图残差显示,在光学及近红外波长处,这些事件比具有相似BB波段光变曲线衰减率的较不极端的Branch SS(1999aa-like)和Branch核心正常超新星光度高出\sim0.1-0.5 mag。
