中微子为粒子物理和高能宇宙提供了独特的探针,它们以极小的相互作用穿越天文距离。其带电流散射截面编码了跨越巨大能量范围的弱相互作用和核子结构的基本信息,然而在 TeV 能量下的测量仍然稀少。在此,我们报告了利用超级神冈探测器观测到的高能大气中微子,首次测定了通量平均的缪子中微子和反缪子中微子带电流总截面。利用 4269 天内收集到的 3989 个上行贯穿缪子事件,结合大气通量和探测器模拟的贝叶斯拟合,我们在 500-5000 GeV 范围内测得的通量平均带电流截面为 cmGeV,这是 TeV 能区迄今最高精度的测量结果。我们的结果与低能下的加速器测量和高能下的对撞机测量一致,填补了加速器实验与中微子望远镜之间的关键空白。这项工作证明了大型地下探测器利用大气中微子进行精确截面测量的能力,为探索标准模型物理以及多 TeV 能量下的潜在新物理搜索开辟了新窗口。
