测试强场量子电动力学:通过电子-离子复合光谱在铯类 Pb78+ 原子系统中验证至二阶

摘要

一种低能储存环与超冷电子制冷器已与重离子加速器耦合,实现了对最重稀有电子离子进行高分辨率电子-离子碰撞光谱。本文测量了铯类 Pb78+ 离子的共振电子-离子复合,碰撞能范围为 9.3-16.5 eV,得出 Pb78+(2s^2 1S_0 - 2s 2p 3P_1) 激发能为 244.937(30) eV。该结果与最新(不够准确)的理论值 244.942(52) eV [Malyshev 等,Physical Review A 110, 062824 (2024)] 一致,该理论值通过严格应用强场量子电动力学至二阶计算得出。本次调查表明,进一步的技术改进可能将实验精度提高一个数量级。
