扩展 LiteBIRD 频率配置下的张量-标量比预测

LiteBIRD 是一项由 JAXA 牵头规划的 CMB B 模卫星实验,目标于 2020 年代末发射,主要目标是探测原初暴胀引力波的印记。其当前基线焦平面配置包含 40 至 402 GHz 间的 15 个频带,满足在张量-标量比总不确定度 δr 上探测引力波振幅的任务要求,达到 δr<0.001。该性能的一个关键方面是精确的天体物理成分分离,而去除偏振热尘埃辐射的能力尤为重要。本文中我们指出,相对于热尘埃谱能量分布(SED),CMB 频谱在 300 GHz 以上近乎指数衰减,因此相对小幅的高频扩展即可带来更低的不确定度和更好的模型重建。具体而言,我们将基线设计与五种扩展配置进行比较,同时改变底层尘埃建模;在每种扩展中,HFT(高频望远镜)频率范围在对数上向更高频移动,上限截止频率介于 400 至 600 GHz。在每种情况下,我们使用参数化和最小方差成分分离算法测量张量-标量比 r 的不确定度与偏差。当热尘埃天空模型包含空间变化的谱指数和温度时,我们发现通过将频率范围上限从 400 扩展到 600 GHz,前景清洗后 r 的统计不确定度可降低多达 30–50%,且大部分改进在 500 GHz 时已获得。我们还注意到更宽的频率范围通过更高的 χ^2 灵敏度带来更好的模型判别能力。(节略)
