摘要

观察行星系统的望远镜 (TOPS) 是一项 proposed 空间任务,用于同时以 16 个波段(分辨率 R~20)可见光 (0.4-0.9 微米) 观测近星系的行星。对于约 10 个最有利的星体,它将具有发现 2 个 R_E 岩石行星的灵敏度,并通过光谱光度测量对其表面或大气进行表征。许多更为巨大的行星和碎屑盘将首次被观测和表征。通过利用最有效和稳健的星场散射和波前控制技术,提议的任务实现了其能源。TOPS 使用的 Phase-Induced Amplitude Apodization (PIAA) 星场允许在接近 100% 效率下进行行星检测,保持望远镜角分辨率。一种高效的焦平面波前感知方案准确测量波前偏差,这些偏差被馈送到望远镜主镜的主动控制中。细致的波前控制也独立在 4 个波段中执行, resulting in a robust system to wavefront chromaticity.
