SW Sex 星、旧新星与激变变星的演化

摘要
轨道周期略高于周期隙的激变变星群体主要由具有极高质量转移率的系统主导，即所谓的 SW Sextantis 星。另一方面，该周期范围内的一些旧新星预计应显示高质量转移率，但却表现出与矮新星等低质量转移系统相似的光度和/或光谱特征。我们将它们讨论为所谓“休眠”系统的候选者，即因先前经历的新星爆发而改变了质量转移行为的激变变星（CVs）。本文旨在为进一步的研究和讨论提供输入，因为目前的结果仍非常初步。
